Obama's Rev. Warren Inaugural Pick Sparks Gay & Lesbian Rights Activists Fury. Lets see if Obama stands with his choice or if he wimps out and changes his mind and selects someone else to his inauguration. Does Obama have enough character? Or does he lack any backbone at all? This will tell us who will actually run the country. Obama or the activists. Stay Tuned!

By the President of the United States of America.
A Proclamation.
The year that is drawing towards its close, has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields
and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to
forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so
extraordinary a nature, that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is
habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God. In the midst of a civil
war of unequaled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign States to
invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has

Homosexuality is described as a sexual preference. So is Pedophilia. Think about this. Gays & Lesbians say they are being disriminated against because of their sexual preference. Pedophiles are greatly restricted on how and where they can live their lives. If the Gays & Lesbians win their fight for equality, how far behind do you think the pedophiles are?

Oh no! We've created a new breed of terrorists. Soon phrases like "Homosexual Extremists" and "Gay Terrorists" will be as common as their Islamic counterparts. The opponents of Prop 8 who commit acts of vandalism or attacks against those who supported Prop 8 should be charged with hate crimes or domestic terrorism.

Scott Eckern, the California Musical Theater official who is embroiled in controversy when people find out he supported and donated to the Proposition 8 campaign. Scott issued a statement Tuesday expressing shock over the backlash, saying "I had no idea this would be the reaction." Then he apologizes for his support for Prop 8 and donates $1,000 to the Human Rights Campaign, which works to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans gender Americans. He admits he chose to act upon his belief that the traditional definition of marriage should be preserved. He supports each individual to have rights and access and he understood that in California domestic partnerships come with the same rights that come with marriage. What Character!

The People of California have spoken not once but twice on Gay Marriage! So put a lid on it already. There are plenty of states that have legalized gay marriage. So move there! You all look like a bunch of kids throwing a fit because Mommy & Daddy said you can't. Whewwww.

Homosexuality is wrong! Both spiritually and biologically speaking. I may be a hypocrite on some things, but my yes vote on Prop 8 was based on spiritual reasons. Having said this there are those opponents of Prop 8 that say we voted yes for Prop 8 out of Hate. This is not true at least with me as well as I would venture to guess probably a very large percentage of those that voted yes on Prop 8. I do not hate people for their choice of lifestyles. I pray for them. I do not approve of their choice of lifestyle. I do not believe it is a lifestyle that children should be raised in. I personally would not associate with people who live that type of lifestyle. Social interaction is different, meaning I treat homosexuals with respect and dignity as human beings because in spite of their choice in lifestyle I believe God does love them. I am not the one who will judge them. God will. And Prop 8 was in my mind a way to protect ...

In spite of the election not going my way, (I voted for McCain) it's time to get behind our new President and support him. Thats the way it has worked in the U.S. for over 200 years. All Americans should be proud that the transition of power occures in the U.S. without any violence, no bombings, no political killings or anything of that sort. We are setting an example that should be followed by all nations on earth. I am so proud to be an American.
Congratulations President Elect Obama. May God bless you and your family and guide you during your term as President of the United States of America.
